May Bake Sale!

We’re back!

Join us on Friday, May 17 and Saturday, May 18 for the 3rd Annual Steiner Ranch bake sale!

One Friday, School in the Hills will again host a bake sale, led by their Kindergarten and Leadership classes. Our Fall bake sale in 2012 raised $1222! This is entirely driven by the children, and they are very excited to sell cookies.

On Saturday, we’ll be setting up at the Bella Mar & Towne Square fields from 8am-3pm, or until we’re sold out!

Want to help? We need folks to bake cookies & package cookies, and staff for the tables on Saturday. Just a ONE hour shift would be a huge help to the Austin’s Good Cookies team!

The Results Are In…

$9,600 for the Good Cookie Soiree – Wow! Add this to our bake sales from 2 weeks ago, and we raised $11,800 in September. Way to go Austin!

We would like to express a heartfelt thank you to all of our sponsors and attendees, who made the 2nd Annual Good Cookie Soiree a resounding success here in Austin! We are so fortunate to have so many wonderful local and national companies willing to help in the fight against pediatric cancer.

Our list of sponsors is recognized on our Austin’s Good Cookies Facebook page, so please make every effort to support these companies as you consider gifts for the holidays, meals and adventures around Austin and even when shopping at your local grocery stores. Without them, our event would not be possible. If you would still like an opportunity to donate, our fundraising page is still open! Your donation goes directly to Cookies for Kids’ Cancer and supports pediatric cancer research.

Finally, if you normally send holiday gifts to clients or family, consider sending a delicious bag of cookies! A portion of your purchase goes to Cookies for Kids’ Cancer – what better way to send a sweet treat?

Thursday is almost here…

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday, 9/27, for the 2nd Annual Good Cookie Soiree! It is going to be a fabulous night!

We have a few tickets remaining, and tickets will be available at the door until we sell out. If you have friends who are interested in attending, we encourage everyone to buy tickets in advance. Remember, your $50 donation covers your entrance and your food & fun for the night!

A few important details:

  • The event is at Gallery Black Lagoon, located at 4301 Guadalupe Street. It is connected to The Parlor (Pizza).
  • Doors open at 7pm.
  • Parking:
    1. There is a small lot you can utilize next to the gallery & pizza shop.
    2. Adjacent to the lot, there is a parking garage under an office building that allows free parking after 5pm. No passes needed.
    3. You may also park on surrounding streets.
  • We will begin drawing for door prizes (must be present to win!) at 7:30pm, and again around 8pm.
  • If you bought a ticket for a friend, we will not have your friend’s name on our list, so they will need to provide your name if they arrive separately from you.
  • We will accept cash, checks or credit cards for raffle tickets and auction items.

    Wow, just one week until our 2nd annual Good Cookie Soiree! Still need a ticket? We have a few left – act fast to ensure your entrance to this fantastic event!     We’re officially only two weeks away from our 2nd Annual Good Cookie Soiree! If you didn’t have the opportunity to attend last year, you will not be disappointed! And for those of you returning this year, it’s bigger and better! Tickets are still available.
